  1. unending treasures from aftab, busy as he is having become a papa^2! i am having a very hard time selecting favourites here–radhubabu’s superb patdeep for bbc(?) with chatur lal, paluskar’s basant that i am hearing for the first time, nissar hussain’s chhayanat in a very clean recording, roshanara’s lovely jhinjhoti–and a warm welcome to arnab! thats all i have heard so far–its going to be a busy weekend. thank you aftab!

  6. There s a beautiful Taleem session in Bhimpalashi, Gaur Sarang by amir khan & a general rec. of Bhavkauns.

    Is there any stuff of anant manohar joshi ji here of tarapada babu here? I have there long recordings like bhimpalashi, yaman, marwa, bhatiyar, jaijaiwanti, shree etc. They r both great artists.

    abdul rashid khan sahib’s short rendition of nayaki is outstanding. seems like its from a live session. do you have the rest of the concert?
    my uncle is a disciple of khan sahib and would like to hear more of him.

      1. thanks for your reply. indeed he has a unbelievable stamina even now. you will be amazed to hear that he is still alive at 105 and he still teaches a handful of blessed pupils regularly.

I’m currently working on the Dilli gharana and want to ask you whether you have any other recordings of Ustad Chand Khansahib apart from the Maru Behag posted above or any other recordings of vocalists from the same gharana.
