This version of Kala Doria, a wedding song, was frequently played on Radio Pakistan in the early 80s. I was a child then, and did not understand much of whatever was being said, but I liked it; and now, I appreciate it as a busy, cheery and energetic account of domestic affairs (kameezan silk diyan ey Delhion aya ney), prudence (kukkri oh leyni jeyrri andey dendi ey), problems (ke sohrey nai jaana sass burr burr kardi ey), splitting (ke jaa ke puttar de kann parrey haneray ney), upheavals (oh aakke amma de uss pharr lai soti ey), skepticism (nikkiaan wadiyaan di na kadde sahara ni), assertiveness (sohra de chirrkaan meri jutti sehndi ey), and problem solving (ke chotay devar nu mein aap viyani aan).
The recording posted here suffers from some degree of pitch variation.
If anyone knows the artists’ names and year of release, please let me know.

Its very nice song that has appreciated because of its nice wording and “SURINDER KAUR” ji who was known as “KOYAL of PUNJAB” and’ll always be….
